Machine Purchases<\/h3>\n<p>PEP have recently acquired two new machines to support our continued growth, an Engel Victory 220T tiebarless machine and an Engel E-MAC 180T electric machine. This represents the 20th Engel machine PEP have purchased since 2005.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-0\"><strong>Engel Victory 220T tie-bar-less machine<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Engel Victory 220T tie-bar-less machine replaces an old Sandretto Series 8 machine as part of our new for old machine program update. <\/p>\n<p>Tie-bar-less technology gives us the following advantages:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"mb-5\">\n<li>A more accessible mould area \u2013 larger mould tools can be fitted to a smaller machine<\/li>\n<li>Even greater precision and excellent mould protection<\/li>\n<li>Lower energy consumption<\/li>\n<li>Quicker mould tool changes<\/li>\n<li>Fitted with a state of the art integrated controller<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pep-ltd.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Picture-1.jpg\" class=\"img-fluid\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-0\"><strong>Engel E-MAC 180T electric machine<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Engel E-MAC 180T electric machine is the first electric machine we have purchased. It offers the following advantages:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"mb-5\">\n<li>Energy saving<\/li>\n<li>Increased precision<\/li>\n<li>Fast injection speeds<\/li>\n<li>Lower maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Quieter operation<\/li>\n<li>Cleaner operation<\/li>\n<li>Suitable for the packaging and medical sectors with cleanroom applications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pep-ltd.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Picture-2.jpg\" class=\"img-fluid\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>2. Floor Repainted<\/h3>\n<p>On our summer shutdown this year and as part of our continued drive for excellence we have undertaken to have the floors repainted. Pictures are shown below.<\/p>\n<div class=\"row mb-4\">\n<div class=\"col-sm-12 col-md-6\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pep-ltd.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Picture-3.jpg\" class=\"img-fluid\" \/>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-12 col-md-6\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pep-ltd.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Picture-4.jpg\" class=\"img-fluid\" \/>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>With the purchase of the two new machines and repainting the factory floor it represents our continued drive for growth with re-investment in plant, equipment and maintaining our continuous improvement philosophy throughout the factory.<\/p>\n<h3>3. New Business for 2026<\/h3>\n<p>PEP have been awarded new business from a new customer in the automotive sector to supply JLR with 2 shot components for the L384 and L481 programmes. For this new business we have placed an order with Engel for a new 450T Duo Combi twin shot machine. This will be delivered in 2025 in preparation for the start of the two programmes.
